Artist | Painter
Pete Finlay is a Sydney-based artist specialising in oil paintings that blend life studies with studio craftsmanship. Working from his Castlecrag studio, Pete draws inspiration from the surrounding waters and landscapes, creating textured and dynamic artworks that transform still life, interiors, and landscapes into expressive, abstract compositions.
Using a combination of brushes and palette knives, his work captures glimpses of harbour and landscape fragments with emotional depth and intuitive expression. A graduate with a Master of Art in Painting, Pete regularly exhibits in Sydney galleries and art events, showcasing his unique artistic vision through his collections, including Inside Out and Foreshore.

Dana Dion
Abstract Landscape Artist
Dana Dion, a Sydney-based artist, creates abstract landscapes that delve deeply into the natural world and reflect her personal journey of self-expression. Her works, characterised by bold textures and dynamic movement, are a vivid celebration of her diverse life experiences and passion for creativity.
From her Greenwich studio, Dana crafts mainly large-scale, vibrant pieces inspired by her immersive experiences in nature. Her intuitive approach, marked by bold strokes, energetic rhythms, and a love for improvisation, captures the vitality and essence of the Australian bush and landscapes beyond. Each painting is fusion of memory, emotion, and the natural world.

Millie Mitchell
Emerging Sydney Artist
Millie Mitchell is a Sydney-based emerging artist working across lands of the Eora Nation. A graduate of UNSW Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours), she now works as Technical Support and an Academic in the printmaking workshops. Her practice delves into themes of place, architecture, and identity through contemporary explorations of print and drawing.
Currently an Artist-in-Residence at Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios, Mitchell has exhibited extensively since 2017, including solo shows such as ‘I am home’ at Brunswick Street Gallery and ‘Framed’ at Little Yellow Studio Collective. She has been a finalist in notable awards like the Small Works Art Prize and Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award. Her work is held in private collections both nationally and internationally.
As a co-founder of More Than Reproduction, Mitchell advocates for emerging printmakers. She has co-curated exhibitions including ‘expand, contract, expand again’ at the Print Council of Australia, and the annual ‘Edition’ exhibition, most recently presented in the Broadhurst Gallery at Hazelhurst Arts Centre.
