Opening Event 7th May 6pm - 8pm

Gestures of Intent: Works from the Germanos Collection showcases a dynamic array of contemporary artworks by exciting early career Australian artists feature in the Germanos Collection. This exhibition highlights the unique voices and creative expressions of Clara Adolphs, Dean Brown, Nick Collerson, Philjames, Madeleine Pfull, Vanessa Stockard, Telly Tu'u, and

Justin Williams.

Each artist brings a distinct perspective, exploring themes of identity, memory, and the human experience through their figurative and narrative styles. From Stockard's whimsical and surreal paintings to Adolphs' emotive and fleeting moments, the exhibition captures the intentionality and depth behind each gesture

and brushstroke.

This exhibition underscores the significance of the Germanos Collection in curating and supporting the works of leading and exciting younger artists.

In this exhibition, we bring together a subset of the Germanos Collection focusing on diverse and compelling pieces and the commitment to fostering younger talent by capturing the evolving landscape of contemporary Australian art. The collection serves as a testament to the importance of intentional and thoughtful curation, showcasing the depth and potential of these artists' contributions to the art world. Through this exhibition, visitors gain insight into the discerning eye and visionary approach of Max and Gaibrielle Germanos, which plays a crucial role in shaping and promoting the future of contemporary art.
