JOB OPPORTUNITY: CHILDREN'S ART TEACHERS

Are you an artist wanting to share your skills? 

​

We are currently looking for passionate art educators to join our team for 2023 in our After-School Term Program. We currently have vacancies in the below fields:

• Ceramics (ages 5-12 years)
   

Friday afternoon availability is required for the advertised role. 

 

Term courses run for 9 weeks, but short courses or one-off workshops can be arranged on application. If you are interested in teaching workshops or art classes with us outside of this area, you are welcome to apply. While we are currently searching for a ceramic's teacher, skills in teaching kids' paint/drawing classes and adult art education are highly desirable as well.

Requirements:
 

• Current WWCC ​or ability to obtain one (for kids classes)

• Tertiary qualifications in Visual Arts or similar (i.e. TAFE certificate or diploma, University study etc.)
   

Desirable:
 

• Experience teaching art classes (e.g. privately, with another art centre/organisation, or at schools) 

• Valid ABN

• First Aid Certificate
